PRESSURE-SENSITIVETAPES & ADHESIVEFOR CUSTOM DIE-CUTTING

Want to find a creative way to eliminate mechanical fasteners, apply adhesives to your seals, gaskets, and insulation materials to aid with assembly, or mask out an intricate shape to speed production on your line? Or source die-cut components for your remote patient monitoring product?  Monaatco Foam has you covered.

Monaatco Foam is both a 3M Preferred Converter and a member of the Avery Dennison Advantage Converter Network. We have years of experience, 4 locations, and a wide variety of state-of-the-art converting equipment, and we’re ready to help create your custom die-cut solution today.

We’ll work with you and our adhesive manufacturer partners to determine the suitable pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for the job, along with the right die-cutting processes and automated assembly systems to enable us to integrate our adhesives onto your die-cut parts in the most efficient manner possible.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) Tapes

We offer our customers a wide range of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes from which to choose — automotive-grade permanent attachment adhesive tapes, low-cost assembly aid PSAs, even medical-grade and EMI shielding tapes.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes are activated with pressure and do not require solvent, water, or heat to activate them. Our adhesive tape options include cost-effective rubber-based PSAs that provide quick-stick capabilities, acrylic PSAs that tend to develop stronger bonds and provide heat and environmental resistances, and silicone PSAs designed special adhesion to difficult silicone materials.

acrylic

Acrylic foam tapes are high-performance bonding tapes that reduce buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) because they absorb vibrations at the tape’s core instead of at the bond line. In addition, these adhesive tapes are often used to replace mechanical fasteners, attach decals and emblems, join vehicle molding and improve assembly time. Acrylic foam tape is ideal for automotive applications, like attaching side mirrors, rearview mirrors, and backup cameras By combining the heat-reflective properties of aluminum with the insulating qualities of its core material, TABshield delivers exceptional thermal and acoustical performance—making it a smart choice for demanding automotive environments.

transfer tapes

Adhesive transfer tape is one of the most commonly converted adhesive products at Monaatco Foam. Unlike double-coated tapes, which have a carrier layer between two adhesive coatings, transfer tapes contain no carrier. These tapes feature a rubber or acrylic-based pressure-sensitive adhesive coated directly onto a removable release liner, usually made of film or paper. Because they lack a carrier, transfer tapes are thinner and more conformable, making them ideal for applications where flexibility and minimal thickness are key. Choose from a variety of aluminum or stainless steel options—available in multiple thicknesses and finishes, including plain, embossed, embossed with micro-perforations, or micro-perforated only—to meet your specific performance and design requirements.

double sided tapes

Also known as double-coated or double-faced tapes, double-sided adhesive tapes are constructed of a liner (one or both sides), an adhesive, a carrier, a second adhesive, and another liner. They are ideal for gap-filling applications and anti-vibration. Double-sided adhesive tapes are generally lower in strength and less expensive than acrylic foam tapes making them suitable for various non-structural applications. Order in sheets, rolls, or die cut to your specific requirements with or without adhesive backing.
